British GDP growth slows
The UK's National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) believes the country will avoid a recession this year. Depsite better-than-predicted movement on industrial production data, the UK's GDP growth rate in Q4 2022 seriously slowed, going from 1.9% to 0.4% in annualised terms, which aligned with expectations. It's likely that the GBP/USD pair will begin declining again.
